This Chardonnay from the Sonoma Coast stays in 70% stainless steel and sees no malolactic, while the rest is aged in neutral French oak to go through partial malolactic fermentation. Clean, crisp lemon and apple blossom, white peach and a touch of pear are all present in this modern style, fresh, steely and mineral laced, mid-weight Chardonnay with surprising concentration and fruit.
- Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
A Sonoma Coast bargain fermented with native yeast with partial malolactic, this Chardonnay charges out of the gate with gorgeous lemongrass, orange peel and honeycomb notes over a core of lemon tart and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, fine-boned and lively in the mouth, it has a lovely savory character and bags of poise coming through on the finish.
- Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate
All from the Sonoma coast and brought up in 2-4-year old barrels, this Chardonnay sports light gold color as well as terrific notes of brioche, caramelized pineapple, Meyer lemon, and spice. Medium-bodied, fresh and lively, it has beautifully integrated oak, good freshness and acidity, and plenty of length. At 22 bucks it’s another sensational value from Seth to drink over the coming couple of years.
